Matt Morse focuses on Dovetail’s front-end, managing marketing, sales, and design.  With extensive experience in luxury production homebuilding, Matt brings a wealth of experience in residential homebuilding to Dovetail’s management team.

Matt’s love of seeing tangible results on a project led him to become a general contractor and custom homebuilder. Matt brings his dedication to clear communication, efficient project management and the Golden Rule to Dovetail’s management team.

Matt is a former naval officer and graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. In his spare time, Matt enjoys coaching and playing soccer, fitness, cooking and various sports.

Brett Roman focuses his efforts on Dovetail’s back-end, specifically production and warranty.  With his extensive experience in homebuilding and remodeling, Brett brings a complementary skill set to Dovetail’s management team, making the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Brett keeps up with the latest homebuilding trends, including green building techniques and materials. Brett belongs to the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association and the National Association of Home Builders.

Brett is a graduate of Radford University, and owned his own construction company before founding Dovetail Custom Homes. When not building homes, Brett enjoys coaching baseball, fitness and various sports.
