Selections

After the floor plan and elevations are complete, it’s time to decide what you want to put in your house, and how it will be covered.  This is another area where custom homebuilding shines:  you have everything you can imagine available to you.  We will put whatever you want into your home.  But like a clever ad I once heard on the radio said, “The good news is that there are 300 million websites matching your search…the bad news is that there are 300 million websites matching your search.”  Making selections for a home can be overwhelming.  Just take a look at any lighting manufacturer’s website once and try to find a chandelier you actually want to buy for your house.  We understand the challenges of making selections, which is why we offer as little or as much assistance as you want in making them.  For tile and granite, we use a local showroom where you make an appointment to make your selections.  Same for cabinets.  For other selections we provide samples where necessary, and rely on the web, where most shopping takes place these days.  Just like with design, our clients come to us either very set on certain products, or completely unsure.  We tailor our assistance according to each client’s needs.
